KK~Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into the industry and what inspired you?
IM INSPIRED BY MUSIC AS A WHOLE , MAJOR INFLUECE HAD TO BE ALL THE WEST COAST PIONEERS, THEY SHOWED ME THAT THERE WAS A WAY TO LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE NORMAL GANGBANG MENTALITY, I TOOK IT AND RAN WITH IT, I NEW IT WAS MY THING WHEN I FIRST SAW JANET JACKSON IN CONCERT , I NEEDED THAT SAME CONTROL,LOL

KK~There are a lot of up-and-coming artists coming out of POmona. Why do feel as tho your one of the few who stands out amongst the rest? THAT’S EASY, FOR ONE IM 100% INDEPENDENT NEVER HAD A HELPING HAND, NO DJ QUICK, NO EAZY E, JUST ME, I PUSH AGAINST ALL ODDS, KOKANE IS POMONA FUNK, SUGA FREE , PEMPIN, IM JUST A REGULAR POMONA BANGIN AS RIDER, WHO SAID ITS ON AND I AIN’T LOOKED BACK .

KK~ Have you ever felt like too much time passes in the game where you have to make it and that window is closing? IM THERE NOW BUT, I JUST KEEP MY SCREWDRIVER NEXT TO ME INCASE I NEED TO BREAK IN A NEW WINDOW.

KK~ As of right now, who in the industry would you say you listen to on a regular and would probably like to work with in the near future? I DON,T. I HATE TV AND RADIO PROGRAMING, SO I TUNE IT ALL OUT TO STAY ORIGINAL.

KK~ In retrospect, being a songwriter, would you consider writing songs for any of them if the opportunity presented itself? NO QUESTION, I CAN TUNE SOME OF THEIR WACK ASSES UP. LOL

KK~ You have a few songs “Inner Freak” & “El Duende” can you touch a lil basis on the history of those tracks? THOSE TRACK ARE LIKE BRAND NEW, I HAD TO DO THE INNER FREAK SONG , I MADE IT TO SALE TO DR DRE, BUT I LIKED IT SO MUCH I KEPT IT. EL DUENDE IS JUST A JINGLE FOR THE TEQUILA COMPANY, JUST AN EXCLUSIVE SONG TO PUT THE HOOD ON WITH THE LATEST DRINK IM SIPPIN.

KK~ Are fans responding to your new music the way you want them to? YES IN FACT JAPAN IS ON ME REAL TOUGH, IM LOVIN IT.

KK~ What is your relationship like with some of Cali’s up-and-coming talent and how important is having unity amongst you all? I REALLY DON’T HAVE ONE, IM NOT REALLY INTO THE NEW ARSTIS , THEY ALL SOUND LIKE THEY HAD THE SAME MUSIC TEACHER, AND HE WAS GARBAGE.

KK~ What direction do you feel Westcoast is headed heading into 2011? WE GONE SOUND AS WACK AS THE REST OF EM, ARTIST DON’T WANT TO BE CREATIVE, THEY WILLING TO SOUND LIKE EVERYONE ELSE TO GET PUT IN THE GAME, IT’S KILLING OUR WESTSIDE CULTURE.

KK~ What advice can you offer to new upcoming artists getting’ into this game? JUST BE TRUE TO YOU, COME FROM YOUR INERSELF, DON’T CHANGE FOR THE GAME , CHANGE THE GAME.

KK~When it is all said and done, how would Sir Loon like to be remembered? LOL AS A STAIGHT REBLE, ONE WHO AS USUAL , DID IT HIS OWN WAY.
