CS: So tell us about you and your ur background (nationality),and where you from?

Genevieve: I was born in the month of December, Sagittarius BABYYY. I am 18 years young (probably will be 19 by the time this is out). The first question everyone always seems to ask me is, “What nationality are you?” and I always respond, “What do you think I am?” and everyone is always stumped. I like to think I am a very unique mix, I am half italian and half arabian. I was born and raised in Long Beach, and now reside in Riverside to achieve my B.A.. degree in Art.

CS: Wich person has influenced you the most in modeling?

Genevieve: When i was little I could remember the hours I spent looking through magazines appreciating the models i thought were pretty and the ads that stood out to me. I even ripped out all the pages I liked and made future “portfolio books”. I would have to say I do not have one certain influence, but anything that is new, and unique certainly influences me.

CS: So Genevieve, how did you go about building your career?

Genevieve: I actually really had no intention to become a model, I sort of got pulled into this modeling industry. I was contacted on Myspace by a clothing company, and agreed to my first shoot. At that shoot, I was approached by four more people that really wished to work with me, my career was taking off. The next two weeks i was booked solid. After that day, the offers just kept coming my way. I have been fortunate enough to never have to go seeking out jobs. Today, I do just more than model for clothing companies; I also work car shows, art shows, body painting exhibits, and help photographers update their portfolios.

CS: So it seems you have been in the modeling game for a bit what fashion shows have you did and for who they were with?

Genevieve: I have actually only been in the modeling game for 3 months believe it or not. I have not done any fashion shows, but have modeled for numerous clothing companies.

CS: What advice can you give inspiring Models out there?

Genevieve: Well my first advice is to never give up, if you really want it, go for it with all you heart. It doesn’t matter what you look like or how tall you are. I am proof short models can make it, standing tall at 5’1. Modeling also takes a lot of patience, so do not get frustrated.
