KK: Tell us a lil ‘bout yourself & where you grew up at?

SHAKE: Im The Mayor some people Should Aready Know, But for those that dont know
im from Fresno, Ca. I come from a long line of hip hop. I started off in a
group i formed in the 8th grade call skhool yard with a childhood friend by
the name of Planet asia, we got our first record deal in high school, toured
over seas a few times and now im back at it for my 2nd official solo release.

KK: How would you describe your sound of music & what makes you different then anyone else in this game?

SHAKE: Its Good California Music. I make music for the gangsta aswell as the common folk. It only one of me.

KK: How did you come up wit the name Shake Da Mayor? And what influenced you to get in this game?

SHAKE: My nickname was always Shake but a friend use to call me the mayor cause he said i was
always trying to negotiate some type of deal so i added that with shake and now you have shake the mayor.
my influence was my childhood friends in the neighborhood like planet asia and skhool yard krew.

KK: What are you working on currently right now? Were can your supporters cop your musik?

SSHAKE: Right now my new album “stay focused be great” thats now done and set for a august 10th of this summer release. Im currently working on the next album Highway 5, the fans can buy my 1st album “fruit of his own thinking” available on itunes, reverbnation.com, rasputin’s & siccness.net

KK: Favorite track (with the most buzz)? Whats going on with that right know?

SHAKE: Turn Me On, Getting My Mail & Stunna Shades all those were big hits from my first album I dropped during the hyphy movement in 07 its 2010 and “Life” is my favorite off of the new album “stay focused be great”.

KK: Who are some of your favorite peepz you have worked with in this industry? Anyone you would like to work wit in the future?

SHAKE: Producers Senestro he knows how to pick my brain and a young guy name soldier keys.

KK: This is a tough industry, what keeps you motivated to stay wit it?

SHAKE: I dont have alot of competition in my city so as long as i can
give the city the blue print basically saying quality over quanity music
wise then i stay motivated to continue to teach…

KK: How do you feel ‘bout the musik industry today & where its goin’?

SHAKE: Its still the same in my opinion nothing has changed im just trying to get
my slice of the pie, feel me.

KK: What advice can you offer to aspiring artists?

SHAKE: Fuck being under someone else, do you its only 2 kind of ppl in the world ppl that follow they dreams and those that work for those that did.
